The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is getting ready to make Islamabad’s largest commercial corridor. The chairman has directed to expedite work on the project.
Project Details:
📍 It will extend for more than 32 km along the Grand Trunk Road.
🏗️ The main aim is to turn it into a modern commercial and economic hub.
Development Plan:
The area on either side of GT Road will be developed as a ‘commercial axis’ with modern commercial centers, high-rises, contemporary shopping strips, and infrastructure. It is expected to meet the commercial needs of the capital city in the coming years.
Key Benefits:
💰 Huge Amount of Revenue: The project is likely to earn more than 500 billion rupees for the CDA, which will be helping in meeting the capital’s other development needs.
